MATERIALS & CARE
No, all of my jewellery pieces are nickel free. The sterling silver I use is naturally nickel-free and high quality and nickel is not typically added to yellow gold or rose gold.
If you would like a piece in gold and are concerned about a possible allergy, please contact me prior to purchasing as we can discuss your options. This will generally mean I use a higher carat of gold.

It is a durable choice of gold that gets it's name from the metal content. 9ct gold contains 37.5% pure gold per carat, with the rest of the alloy being made of sterling silver and copper.
Shipping & Production
Skeleton Coast pieces are handcrafted and made to order. All of my pieces require a 10 day turnaround production time, to allow for sizing, polishing, and ensuring your jewellery is perfect. Custom pieces fall out of this timeframe and I will be in touch regarding timeframes when custom jewellery is ordered.
Please contact me if you have a specific deadline or special date you need to meet. I will try my best to accommodate special requests. In most cases I will request that you pay for upgraded expedited shipping.
Yes! Shipping will be calculated at checkout and Skeleton Coast Jewellery is not responsible for any import duties and taxes.
International customers (outside of Australia) are responsible to pay any applicable inbound duties, taxes, and any other fees outlined by local Customs authority. All international packages are shipped DDU (duties and taxes unpaid), meaning these fees are not included in the price of goods purchased from my website.
It is your responsibility to pay these fees in order to receive the parcel. Unfortunately I am unable to advise the amounts of what these fees might be (if applicable at all). Please contact your country's custom office for estimated charges on packages coming from overseas BEFORE purchasing a piece from my store.
I create all of my pieces out of my studio in Brisbane, Australia.
Sizing
The most reliable and accurate way to be measured is by a professional jeweller. Please note that some companies may charge a small fee for their time.

In some instances I offer custom lengths for an additional fee. Contact me to discuss and bear in mind that depending on the modification you'd like the price will vary. Please note that custom orders are non-refundable.

Payments are processed through Shopify, which is one of the most trusted payment gateways in the world. Shopify uses the highest level of encryption and data security to ensure your details are protected.
The best way to know when I release a new collection is to be on my mailing list. I hate spam too so I only email the good stuff and not that often!
I offer a 14-day return policy for all full-priced jewellery starting from the day your order is delivered. If you wish to initiate a return, please login here.
Returned items must be in an unused, new condition and in their original packaging. Unfortunately, I am unable to facilitate exchanges. Instead, once approved, I will automatically issue a refund / credit for any returned items that meet the conditions.
Please note, I do not offer returns or exchanges for custom-made items or for earrings (due to health and safety).
In the rare event that your Skeleton Coast Jewellery piece suffers any damage caused by craftsmanship, I offer a repair or exchange period of 8 months. This warranty does not apply to regular wear, product loss, loss of stones or theft.
Damage or loss that results from failure to obtain necessary repairs to maintain the integrity of the product are also not covered. Examples of jewellery issues that are not covered within this warranty:
- Wear and tear (for rings this includes scratches, peels, or bent out of shape from rough use)
- Loss or disappearance of gems or parts
- Breakage due to rough use
- Deterioration or tarnish due to contact with toxic substances
- Loss of gold plating on gold vermeil items
